Shannon Kane

Background & History

Working as chemist assistang with her Husband Harry Kane, a chemist under contract by the U.S. government, Shannon Kane was  instrumental in the research and development of several inventions such as a "web fluid", which dried instantly into a sticky, string-like substance that was strong enough to hold a persons weight and to swing on.

When her husband was killed by terrorists, she devised a set of special bracelets to contain the Web fluid in small spray containers and release it over nozzles inside her gloves as needed, declared war on all criminals and became the "Spider Queen".

After a long time in the superhero business, the Spider Queen now works for the covert network known as "The W.E.B. Foundation", where she is head of Research & Development Department and responsible for equipping the agents of W.E.B. with the technical equipment and weapons they need in the field.

The original "Spider Queen" was created by Elsa Lisau (possible pseudonym for Louis and Arturo Cazeneuve) in the 1940's.

Spider Queen is is a public domain character and thus free for everyone to use by anyone in any way they wish. (Not this re-imagination, though!)
