When secret experiments on an alien spider-like creature, brought back from the moon by the crew of Apollo 11 in 1969, went catastrophically wrong, a highly contagious, airborne, extraterrestrial virus escaped into earths atmosphere - and caused mutations in 0,0001 % of earths population.
That doesn't sound like much, you think?
